Old type step light May project the glow outward to light up more than where you need.	For outdoor application Where the fixture withstands to season and lots of rains,consider applying silicone caulking for water seal enhancement

Stair light dimming range varies from different dimmers. It may not be able to dim all the way down to "off". To achieve a better dimming result, please refer to the dimmer chart below (dimmer compatibility tested by the manufacturer ).
