LED Step/Stair Light, 12V Low Voltage, V-Mount, Stair Light, Wet Location

I sent you folks 2 emails asking to purchase 4 mounting brackets for the 12 volt led step lights. I some how misplaced the mounting brackets during our construction and needed to order replacements. NO RESPONSE/ CRICKETS!! ...... So in order to finish installing the remaining 3 led light i had to buy another set of 3. Spending cash for a full set when all i needed was the mounting brackets!! Who is responsible for reading and responding to emails sent you your company?? They are failing big time. Now i have extra lights I didnt need.

Like the unit. Bought 6 for outdoor stairs in a salty air harsh environment - put every third step. So far so good. Two problems I had that I shared with others.
1. Putting the mounting plate on after the fixture is installed. I found this was because the fixture was too tight to the wall. I shimmed it out slightly and the plate goes on easily.
2. The light it puts out is "really bright". Too bright for the accent lighting I wanted on my stairs. Plus the light is white which attracts bugs. I wanted yellow which doesn't attract bugs. So I used an acrylic yellow artists paint (see picture - a friend who paints outdoor murals loaned me 2 oz canister, I probably used .01 oz on the 6). I put one coat on and got the yellow effect but it was still too bright. I tried a second coat. It was closer and a third coat made it perfect.

But would recommend Cloudy Bay make the filter in yellow instead of having to do this - but it works well!
